No this is not an advertisement for MK Restaurant in Thailand. This is just my sharing with you at this restaurant.. The food is 6 over 10 as of my standard of steamboat or hot pot or suki which ever you want to call it or which ever suits you.

We (my dearest and I) eat at this restaurant when we stay at the Meritus State Tower because it is within walking distance of 7 minutes walk depending on your walking pace.

They do not serve hot water but serve hot tea and also tea with ice but no cold water. Bottled mineral water are on sale but no hot water. As i mentioned earlier on We eat at this place when we are in BKK. The difference from our last visit and now is not much of the difference. Still crowded during peak hours. Still could speak English. Almost none of the waiteresses there speak english. Lately, I discount that being a waiteress one has to be tech savvy... Every waiteress / water has a palm around their neck. Orders are no longer hand written. The Orders were keyed in directly on their Palm PC and when you agreed to the orders ( text in Thai IF you could understand), it is sent via WI-FI to the Kitchen.

Real cool that you dont get in Singapore. Singapore has always boast of its high tech and being a leader in the region but I find that Singapore is slacking behind. Singapore may have good infrastructure and but lack the personal touch. Singapore has improved through the years but the mentality of the people has not changed. How could the people fit into the society isnt that a mismatch... or how do they managed?? Ponder about it.
