A Wonderful Dinner at Silom Village during my trip to Bangkok
It was christmas and I didnt spend my time in Singapore because there was nothing much in Singapore for me. Too boring with all the routing happenings of dinner and lightings. Seems that the only place for People to go was Orchard road and certainly I was game for that.
Decided to leave Singapore on 23 December for Bangkok for prayers and also for some relaxation
Did nothing much in Bangkok except slap all day in the room on 24 December always very peaceful and cooked congee for my man while he sleeps and that goes without saying the massage. ha ha ha (are you envious now? please dont.)
December 25, visited the Emporium suites and the shopping centre and it was a more up market departmental store and complex with all the branded goods but nothing seem to attract me because there was nothing i need. Bought a swimming goggles and 3 uv protect tee shirts for my archery and saw some archery stuff ( cross bow, compound and recurve bow.)
After buying my swimming goggles my man and I went to the grab lunch and then rush back to the hotel for a swim. I was looking forward for my swim as I have not swam for many days in that week.
When at the pool I was thrill to see the pool and little people swimming in it many people were chatting by the pool, reading, sun bathing. I walked towards the pool and felt that the water was cold and but since i was there i didnt give up but swam in the icy cold water and then it was such a challenge for me to swim in the cold water. I was so pleased that my man brave himself to go into the water as swimming wasn't his key sports.
After the swim, we went back to the room and took our shower and then get ready to go for dinner, Thomas Kum met us in our room 1606 and we started to drink while in the room as we waited for the jam to be clear. We went to Silom village and we enjoyed the dinner we had lobster sashimi and we had crab in glass noodles and we had a steam garoupa food was good but the fish was a little over cooked and alittle dry. the soup we had was good and the pineapple rice was good and so was our drink. What was good was the company. We finished drinking the bottle of Macallan and Thomas Kum fetched us back to President Park and we went to Market place to buy another bottle of Johnny Walker gold and continue drinking in our room. A wonderful christmas with wonderful friends in a non christian country...
