Clean Yourself in a Dirty Place

It is such an irony for Asians. I didn’t travel very widely but I have visited some places in Asia and in Europe. I have also visited places in South East Asia.

In order to under the culture of a country better is not just tasting their food and eating. Visiting their rest rooms is a very important culture too.

Something, I realised that Asians have a poor self awareness in their use of their washroom. Especially when it comes in public toilets and public shower room. These wash room or comfort room or water closet, or whatever you called it. Can be such and eye sore and a disgrace to either the host country and the organization that they do allow such unhygienic toilets / wash room to be a mess and sells awful. That the content of ammonia is so strong that it stings your eyes.

How could people clean themselves in such a dirty place. Keep yourself clean in a dirty place. How about keeping the place clean so that cleaning yourself would be more effective

Toilets in China is such a distraught states toilets in the suburbs has no doors and do take the modesty of a person into consideration.

Toilets in Singapore Newton circus and other areas are paid toilets and they are dirty, wet and smelly with no tissue paper supplied. Singapore are trying to attract tourist and Newton circus is one of the tourist spots with such horrible state of toilets isn’t that a disgrace to the Singaporeans. A toilet train dog can do a better job then the people in Singapore who use the public toilets.

Worst of all they are paid to use toilets and what is the guy doing with the money collected. Isnt it his job to keep the toilet clean or is it just too lazy to keep the toilet clean or is the toilet build on a BOT basis. Build Operate Transfer? Is that why the reason why they collect the fee for the toilet.
